SailPoint is the leader in identity security for the cloud enterprise. Our identity security solutions secure and enable thousands of companies worldwide, giving our customers unmatched visibility into the entirety of their digital workforce, ensuring workers have the right access to do their job – no more, no less.

Position Summary:

SailPoint is redefining identity security for the era of AI, automation, and intelligent agents. We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our strategy and execution for non-human identities—including both agent identity security and machine identity security. This leader will set the vision, define the roadmap, and drive adoption of solutions that protect enterprises from the rapidly evolving risks posed by autonomous agents, service accounts, workloads, and machine-to-machine interactions.

This is a highly visible role that requires deep technical expertise, market awareness, and the ability to translate complex security challenges into differentiated, scalable products.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership:

  • Define and own the product vision for SailPoint’s agent identity security and machine identity security solutions.

  • Anticipate emerging risks from agentic technologies, AI-driven automation, and machine-to-machine ecosystems.

  • Translate market trends, customer needs, and regulatory shifts into actionable product strategies.

Product Roadmap and Execution:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, ruthlessly prioritizing features and initiatives based on changing customer needs, market trends, and business goals.

  • Lead a team of product managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to drive high performance and product excellence.

  • Drive the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.

  • Maniacally focus on execution.  Ensure product releases happen on time and meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.  Set and manage to customer adoption and success metrics.

Non-Human Identity Focus:

  • Leverage deep knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform AI/ML services, identity frameworks, and workload security models.

  • Anticipate how emerging agentic AI platforms (e.g., autonomous agents, orchestration frameworks, LLM-powered services) reshape enterprise identity risk.

  • Ensure SailPoint solutions integrate seamlessly with cloud-native identity and security ecosystems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution.

  • Act as a key product evangelist, communicating product vision and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Define and track key product metrics, using data to inform product decisions and measure success.

  • Analyze user behavior and market trends to identify opportunities for product optimization and growth.

  • Present product performance and roadmap updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise security domains.

  • Proven track record of defining and launching successful enterprise-grade security products.

  • Deep understanding of agentic technologies (autonomous agents, orchestration frameworks, AI-driven workflows) and the unique risks they pose.

  • Expertise in machine identity security (authentication, service accounts, workload identities).

  • Strong technical knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP identity, AI, and security services.

  • Exceptional communication skills—able to engage both deeply technical audiences and executive stakeholders.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Zero Trust architectures and privileged access management.

  • Experience with AI governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.

  • Prior experience in cloud-native security or DevSecOps product domains.

  • MBA or advanced technical degree a plus.
